What this site does
This site publishes articles and resources from Barry Pulver. A small administrative area lets approved team members publish and manage articles. Visitors do not need an account to read public content.
Accounts & authentication
- Sign-in is only required for administrative actions. Public articles are readable without an account.
- Authentication is handled by our hosting backend. Passwords are never stored by this application directly.
- Administrative permissions are stored server-side and enforced with row-level security; client-side role hints are not trusted.
Data we collect
- Account email and authentication metadata for signed-in administrators.
- Article content, cover images, and PDFs uploaded by administrators.
- Standard server request logs used to operate and secure the site.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Storage & access control
- Article files (covers and PDFs) live in private storage buckets and are served via short-lived signed URLs.
- Database access is gated by row-level security; only the data a given role is allowed to see is returned.
- Privileged operations run only inside server functions, never in the browser.
